AirAsia has been allowed to operate four weekly flights between Malaysia and Pakistan. AirAsia is a Malaysian low-cost airline based in Kuala Lumpur.

October 3, 2024 - Document allowing AirAsia to operate four weekly flights between Malaysia and Pakistan presented by Pakistan's Secretary Aviation/Chairperson of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority Board Ahsan Ali Mangi to AirAsia representative at a ceremony held at Prime Minister of Pakistan House in Islamabad.

Would be great to see Islamabad get regular direct flights to KL as well. PIA’s services have dwindled.
