Gulf Air to Suspend PEW/SKT/MUX/LYP

From Oct 26, Gulf Air is to Suspend flights to and from Peshawar, Sialkot, Multan and Faislabad.

This means Gulf Air will only serve Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.

Only a few days ago, news emerged of Gulf Airs extended partnership with Thai Airways, adding 10 new destinations. Could this be the reason why?

They are and will operate LHE as well.

What a shame GF was a good airline to travel with to all the secondary airports. They must be making profits on these flights for them to last this long.

It's mentioned in the article that DMM-KHI, RUH-PEW and RUH-MUX are amongst the top 5 O&D routes for Gulf Air. The direct flights on these routes are also very limited. Pakistani carriers should increase flights on these routes.
