Apparently FJ has made an emergency landing at LHE, confirmed it from a relative who's at the airport right now to drop-off someone

According to news reports, Fly Jinnah (FJ) Airbus A320 (aircraft registration AP-BOO) Karachi to Lahore flight 9P846 cockpit crew issued Mayday call after receiving cargo hold fire/smoke warning/alarm in the cockpit. The aircraft carrying 164 passengers landed safely at Lahore Airport. No indication of fire found in the aircraft cargo hold after landing in Lahore. Emergency escape slides were used to evacuate passengers and crew from the aircraft.

Fly Jinnah (FJ) flight 9P846 from Karachi landed in Lahore at 7:26 PM, according to Lahore Airport website. The flight was scheduled to arrive in Lahore at 7:25 PM.

Fly Jinnah statement:
"Fly Jinnah confirms that flight 9P846 from Karachi to Lahore on September 23, 2024, experienced a smoke alarm indication in the cargo compartment upon landing in Lahore. In accordance with standard safety protocols, the flight crew followed the standard procedures, notified the airport, and the aircraft with all crew and passengers onboard landed safely in Lahore. Our technical team is currently conducting a thorough inspection to identify the cause of the alarm.
We regret the inconvenient caused and assure the safety of our passengers and crew remains our main priority."

Why did FJ used 18L runway rather than 36R?

The pilot gave Mayday call and informed Air Traffic Control about smoke in the cargo compartment alarm at 7:15 PM. The aircraft landed safely at Lahore Airport at 7:23 PM, according to Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
After evacuation of passengers and crew through emergency escape slides, the aircraft underwent thorough inspection by Rescue and Fire Fighting Services personnel and was cleared by 7:57 PM.
The incident is being investigated by officials of Pakistan's Bureau of Air Safety Investigation (BASI).

On September 24, Fly Jinnah (FJ) Airbus A320 (aircraft registration AP-BOO) returned to the skies when it left Lahore at 11:02 PM apparently as ferry flight 9P9990 probably to Sharjah for maintenance checks. The aircraft remained on the ground at Lahore Airport for about 27 hours 30 minutes.

On September 25, Fly Jinnah (FJ) Airbus A320 (aircraft registration AP-BOO) arrived in Sharjah at 12:50 AM as ferry flight 9P9990 from Lahore.
Lahore to Sharjah flight completed in 2 hours 48 minutes by the aircraft.

On September 27, Fly Jinnah (FJ) Airbus A320 (aircraft registration AP-BOO) arrived in Karachi at 7:18 AM as ferry flight 9P9990 from Sharjah completed in 1 hour 47 minutes.
