PIA tender notice in September 12 newspaper for:

1. Air Transportation of aircraft engine from Hong Kong to Karachi.
2. Air Transportation of aircraft engine stand from Karachi to Paris.
3. Air Transportation of aircraft engine from Miami/Dallas to Karachi.
4. Air Transportation of aircraft engine CFM56 from Karachi to UK/France/Ireland/Germany/USA.
5. Air Transportation of aircraft engine GE90 from Karachi to UK/France/Ireland/Germany/USA.

I wonder what is the cost of placing this advertisement.

Why place an add in the paper when the 99.99% of the people reading the newspaper have nothing to do with engine transport.

These government laws are a waste of money.

Under Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules & regulations, such PIA tender notices have to be published in Urdu and English dailies of Pakistan also.

PIA tender notices seeking crew hotel accommodation in cities abroad like Toronto and Kuala Lumpur and catering service at airports of foreign countries like UK also have appeared in Pakistani newspapers.

I think privately-owned PIA will not be required to publish such tender notices in Pakistani newspapers.
