ISLAMABAD:
PIA has intensified its efforts to curb the growing trend of passengers taking photos and videos during flights, particularly during takeoff and landing.
The airline has also started making announcements to remind passengers that photography and videography are prohibited onboard.
According to PIA, under Pakistan's aviation regulations, photography during flights is not allowed. The measure is intended to protect the privacy of passengers and prevent any potential incidents that could arise from unauthorised filming or photography. A spokesperson said that the prohibition was in line with global aviation practices.
