Israel does not have diplomatic ties with Pakistan.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel says that the Situation Center and the Department for Israelis Abroad at the Foreign Ministry were updated about the event and worked in collaboration with other agencies to ensure the well-being of the Israelis aboard the aircraft in Karachi, Pakistan. After a short time, the aircraft resumed its flight to Colombo with the Israelis onboard.

Only the body of passed away Sri Lankan passenger was removed from the aircraft for medical examination at Karachi Airport and other formalities and paper work. The deceased passenger's body was prepared for transportation to Sri Lanka on the same aircraft with relevant papers/death certificate prepared at Karachi Airport. All other passengers remained aboard the aircraft at Karachi Airport and Pakistani authorities did not seek or needed information about nationalities of passengers and crew aboard the aircraft.
