Air Sial planning to add 5 leased aircraft in its fleet, according to news report on following link:

https://www.24newshd.tv/7-Jun-2024/airs ... -operation

Air Sial intends to expand its international flight operations with the addition of aircraft in its fleet.

Recently, Air Sial was included in the list of designated airlines allowed to operate flights between Pakistan and China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkiye, Kuwait and United Kingdom.

Presently, Air Sial has 5 Airbus A320 aircraft in its fleet performing flights on airline's domestic and regional route network.

AirSial initiated the recruitment of A330 crew a few months back. It raises the question of whether AirSial is adding more narrow-body or wide-body aircraft, or perhaps a combination of both. For the Saudi route, the A330 would be more suitable, but for the rest of the markets that AirSial aims to expand into, a mix of A320/A321 would be more appropriate.

The problem is that no aircraft leasing company is willing to lease it to a Pakistani private airline due to Pakistan's name in grey list and current economic condition.

The real problem is people on this forum who think Pakistan is still on the grey list.

You are right, partially.
Let me rephrase - the dire economic and political instability is not encouraging leasing companies to lease aircraft to Pakistani airlines.

Got us out of the grey list and threw aviation and pilots into a grinder. *A big round of applause*
