Technical problem in the aircraft has delayed departure of PIA Boeing 777-300ER aircraft registration AP-BMS Peshawar to Jeddah flight PK841 by more than 8 hours. The flight was scheduled to leave Peshawar at 4:50 PM on May 27.


Delay in flight departure caused inconvenience to Hajj pilgrims.

PIA Boeing 777-300ER aircraft registration AP-BMS is apparently still on the ground at Peshawar Airport where it had arrived at 1:26 PM as flight PK842 from Jeddah on May 27.

On May 29, PIA Boeing 777-300ER aircraft registration AP-BMS returned to service when it left Peshawar at 1:48 AM as flight PK841 to Jeddah.
