Advance Passenger Information (API) data is basic information about passengers and crew members. It includes name, date of birth, gender, citizenship and travel document data (e.g. passport number). This information is available from the machine-readable zone of the passport. API data also includes flight information such as flight number, arrival and departure times.
This initiative aims to adhere to regulations and optimize operations concerning international travel and the management of passenger information.
