Fly Jinnah (FJ) Starting Flights Between Islamabad and Bahrain

Karachi, Pakistan, May 15, 2024: Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s low-cost carrier, has announced the launch of its new non-stop flights between Islamabad and Bahrain, starting from 13 June 2024. The new route will initially start with a frequency of two weekly flights.

Flight Schedule between Islamabad International Airport and Bahrain International Airport, effective 13 June,2024:  

Route: Islamabad to Bahrain
Flight Number: 9P764
Days of Operation: Tuesday, Thursday
Aircraft Type: Airbus A320
Departure from Islamabad: 7:05 PM
Arrival in Bahrain: 8:55 PM
Flight Duration: 3 hours 50 minutes

Route: Bahrain to Islamabad
Flight Number: 9P765
Days of Operation: Tuesday, Thursday
Aircraft Type: Airbus A320
Departure from Bahrain: 9:45 PM
Arrival in Islamabad: 3:20 AM
Flight Duration: 3 hours 35 minutes

Commenting on the airline’s fourth international route, Fly Jinnah’s spokesperson said: “We are pleased to announce the launch of our third international route from Islamabad to Bahrain, following the successful launch of our international flights linking Islamabad and Lahore to Sharjah, as well as Islamabad to Muscat, Oman. This strategic expansion underscores our dedication to offering our valued customer new options for affordable and value driven air travel domestically and internationally.”

Fly Jinnah remains steadfast in offering convenient and affordable service to its passengers. With its modern fleet of five Airbus A320 aircraft, the airline serves five major cities in Pakistan: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. This new route adds to Fly Jinnah's growing list of international destinations, complementing the existing flight route to Sharjah, UAE.

In addition to the extra comfort provided by the most generous seat-pitch of any economy cabin, the carrier offers affordable and value-driven travel experiences through “SkyCafe” onboard menu where passengers can enjoy a wide variety of delicacies between snacks, sandwiches, and meals at affordable prices. Seems like people at FlyJinnah are thinking outside the box. After a very long time, a Pakistani private airline will serve Bahrain or probably the first time even if Shaheen has not served it in the past.

But it will be interesting to note if they will be able to sustain 3 daily flights on ISB-KHI, 3 daily flights on LHE-KHI, a daily flight on PEW-KHI, ISB-UET, and KHI-UET together with their international routes.

If so, then they must be having plans for fleet expansion in the pipeline.

Overall, I guess, they are performing very well. Good luck to them.

Even their marketing with all of these new routes is very consistent in terms of design and text. These are very little details but it demonstrates that airline is being managed very well.

Fly Jinnah (FJ) Airbus A320 aircraft registration AP-BOQ is airborne as airline's inaugural Islamabad to Bahrain flight 9P764. The aircraft is carrying more than 100 passengers.

On June 13, Fly Jinnah (FJ) Airbus A320 aircraft registration AP-BOQ arrived in Bahrain at 8:32 PM as airline's inaugural flight 9P764 from Islamabad completed in 3 hours & 20 minutes. The aircraft left Islamabad at 7:11 PM.

On June 14, Fly Jinnah (FJ) Airbus A320 aircraft registration AP-BOQ arrived in Islamabad at 3:11 AM as airline's inaugural flight 9P765 from Bahrain completed in 2 hours & 55 minutes. The aircraft left Bahrain at 10:16 PM.
