Like­wise, the flight link of the GB region remained suspended due to bad weather conditions. Accor­ding to the Civil Aviation Autho­rity, the first regular international flight from Skardu to Dubai scheduled to start on Monday was cancelled due to weather.

May 3, PIA Dubai to Skardu flight PK234 performed by Airbus A320 aircraft registration AP-BON apparently diverted to Islamabad due to bad weather in/around Skardu.

The aircraft departed from Dubai at 4:51 AM and arrived in Islamabad at 8:18 AM.
