TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SIAL RUNWAY FOR REHABILATION WORK

Sialkot International Airport is Alhamdulillah operating all scheduled flights and will continue its operation. However, during the month of May, 2024 will temporarily close operations for 13 days to undertake repair work on SIAL RUNWAY.

This information is basically for our worthy passengers planning to travel during the above-mentioned dates so that they can alter their travel plan through nearby airports accordingly.

Sialkot International Airport has initiated significant runway reconstruction and repair efforts, marking a pivotal moment for the region’s aviation infrastructure.

The project entails an investment of PKR 204 million for runway overhaul. With a completion target set for May 18, the refurbished runway will facilitate the resumption of both domestic and international flights.

A number of flights to/from Sialkot Airport are operated to/from airports of Islamabad and Lahore.

On May 19, flight operations resumed at Sialkot International Airport after completion of airport's Runway 04/22 rehabilitation work.

Flight operations at Sialkot International airport were suspended for 13 days from May 6 to May 18 during runway rehabilitation work.
