Before detailing the Cabin Crew to Toronto, check the provident fund of the crew, if it is zero, then take it off the flight because any crew will withdraw their provident fund before leaving

A Flight Steward of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reportedly gone missing from Canada, making it the second such incident in a week.

Jibran Baloch,47, was part of the cabin crew on PK783 from Karachi to Toronto operated on February 27. He was scheduled to report for the return flight PK782 to Islamabad on February 29, according to a PIA spokesman.

When Mr Baloch didn’t report for the return flight, the staff opened his hotel room, but he was not there, the spokesman added.

Nothing else was discovered from his room which could help the authorities trace the missing steward’s whereabouts. The authorities found no clue to trace the whereabouts of Mr Baloch, who joined the national carrier in 2005.

A PIA spokesman informed that the alleged disappearance of Jibran Baloch has been reported to Toronto Police Service and Canada Border Services Agency.

On February 27, PIA Boeing 777-200LR aircraft registration AP-BGY arrived in Toronto at 10:16 PM as flight PK783 from Karachi.

On February 29, PIA Boeing 777-200LR aircraft registration AP-BGY left Toronto at 1:19 PM as flight PK782 to Islamabad. The flight was scheduled to depart at 1:00 PM.
