20 Years of PIA Boeing 777 Operation

Today marks 20 years of PIA B777 operation when PIA undertook the delivery of a brand new B777-200ER Registered AP-BGJ in 2004.

Now it's just an acient relic and PIA continues to mismanage the 777 fleet.

I've got amazing memories of pia 777s at Birmingham and Manchester,.I only flew pia till abt 2019 and obviously not long after it got banned from UK. To make it worse I've literally found a YouTube channel from JIAP and it's actually heartbreaking to see 777s rotting away .check this Aviation Vibes at YouTube,it has got descent videos of plane graveyard at Karachi

Recently took a flight from KHI to SHJ. The aerial view of Ispahani hangar and the tarmac was quite saddening. Saw 5 777s lined up altogether out of which only 1-2 are airworthy.

What a sad state of Pakistani aviation...in last 20 years just 7,8 widebodies of PIA plus 2 widebodies of Serene air which are ex-Shaheen.. DUbai, Qatar,India,Turkey and so many other have fleets near to 500 to one thousand while Pakistan being a country of 26 crore with area size of Turkey has handful of aircrafts
