Today, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad appreciated special instructions given by the prime minister for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Dalbandin Airport on emergency basis.

Dalbandin Airport Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower and Runway 13/31 to be repaired/reconstructed. Runway to remain unavailable for flight operations till August 6, 2024.

On July 14, 2021, Dalbandin city received heavy rainfall with extremely strong winds that severely damaged infrastructure of Dalbandin Airport including the terminal building, Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, electrical supply System. Strong winds also shattered windows of Dalbandin Airport building.
