with the economic crisis in Pakistan and shortage of foreign currency, might have been better if the government had told its citizens to skip hajj this year.

Where will Pakistan find the dollars for the 80,000 that will travel from Pakistan???

Maybe the payments have to be made in Riyals?

Riyals dollars same thing, its foreign currency, that we do not have.

If Pakistan can block payments of foreign airlines, then why allow the Hajj where they will need 500 million dollars.

Hajj is for swab.

80,000 people going to Hajj will cost 100 billion rupees at a cost of 1.2 million per person.

Might be better for these people to contribute this money for the poor families.

1 person not going to Hajj can buy rations for 100 familes for a month.
