FULL PAYLOAD 199000KG AND FUEL 99,000KG OF MAXIMUM 135,000KG. 6500KG PER HOUR FUEL BURN. USA APPROVED PAKISTAN AND INDIA BOTH NONSTOP USA AND PAKISTAN START JANUARY 2006. AP-BGJ/K/L WILL FLY NONSTOP FROM PAKISTAN TO NEW YORK, CHICAGO, TORONTO MAXIMUM 16HOURS FOR 329 PASSENGER AND 15 CABIN CREW AND 4 PILOT = 344 PASSENGER. Good news.

PK should now be able to start non-stop flights to YYZ. It is no point having the MAN stopover as they do not carry pax on the MAN-YYZ leg of the journey.

true..they should use the LR's on the YYZ route..but does anyone know how the 777's will be used once boeing has provded PIA with all the 777's it requires ? i mean..will they assign the LR's a specific route and the 777-300's a specific route and so on ? Because i dont think the 777 is a viable option on flightsother than trans atlantic and trans pacific flights...keeping in mind the load factor..plus i've also heard lax is starting in jan...is it true ? maybe thats why PIA's floated a tender for a 777....

HOW DID I KNOW INFORMATION?IT BY MY FRIEND CAPTAIN IS PIA BOEING 777 AND HE SHOWED ME HIS REFERENCE HANDBOOK AND FULL INFORMATION. HE IS TRAINING SIMALUTOR IN LONDON WITH MANY CAPTAIN AND FIRST OFFICER FOR INCREASED MAXIMUM TAKE OFF AND LANDING.
AP-BGJ/K/L WILL FLY NONSTOP FROM PAKISTAN TO YYZ,JFK,CHICAGO BUT AP-BGY AND APBGZ 777-240LR WILL FLY NONSTOP TO HOUSTON IAH. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME THEN YOU PLEASE GO TO FLIGHT OPERATION DEPARTMENT, PIA BUILDING, HEAD OFFICE, KARACHI AIRPORT AND ASK THEM TO GIVE YOU FULL INFORMATION. UP TO LIKE.

YES AP-BGJ/K/L SAME PAX SEAT BUT CABIN CREW 4 WILL SLEEP IN ECOMONY CLASS AND TWO PILOT WILL SLEEP IN BUSINESS CLASS.
777-240LR SEAT 318 PASSENGER. PILOT SLEEP IN CREW REST ROOM AND CABIN CREW SLEEP IN BACK REAR CREW REST ROOM.

The IGW 656K will cover all the PK-USA/Canada routes non-stop, except PK-IAH.

Even PK-IAH can be covered non-stop by the 656k 772 with some load restrictions. Judging by the inconsequential loads PIA is carrying
on this route, it should not be a problem.

The 77W(340ER) can cover all PIA routes non-stop.

Getting two 77L for one non-stop twice a week(PK-IAH) route dosent make too much of a business sense.

The 777ER flew nonstop from Seattle to ISB due to no pax and cargo and full fuel tanks.

An SAA 747SP also managed to fly nonstop from Boeing Field to Cape Town on its delivery flight, as it carried only around 40 pax and no cargo.

AA CAPTAIN SHOWED ME AA HANDBOOK THAT AA 777-200ER WILL FLY NONSTOP CHICAGO ORD TO DEL DELHI START ON NOVEMEBER 2005. AA 777-200ER SAME PIA 777-200ER WEIGHT AND PAYLOAD
American Airlines will operate a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft and once operational, this route would be the longest non-stop route of carrier's network. The plane would have 16 first-class, 35 business class and 185 economy seats for a total of 236 seats. Far less then 329 seats on PIA's 777's.

I am in Karachi attending an international carpet trade show. Tonight PIA hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting buyers and exhibitors.

District Manager Karachi (Mr. Shahi) announced that PIA is soon starting non-stop Karachi Los Angeles flights.

I think the LRs will go to Houston and LA.

ER is Extended Ranger it can fly long range up to 16hours but LR is Longer range up to 20 hours. yes yes yes yes yes maximum payload 329pax 199000kg plus fuel 99,000kg total 298,000kg. 99,000kg fuel for 16hours no problem. you dont need worry about nonstop because PIA have ER.

Was any modification required to the plane? Boeing 777 has been in service for many years, so how come all of sudden this discovery is made? Who made this discovery? What does take off weight mean in lay man's term? how does it impact in increasing flying time?
