Pakistan Navy Bids Farewell to Fokker F27

On January 21, 2020, Pakistan Navy retired Fokker F27 in an impressive phasing out ceremony at PNS Mehran Naval Air Station in Karachi.



Fokker F27 served Pakistan Navy No. 27 Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Squadron for thirty-eight years (1982-2020).



Pakistan Navy Fokker F27 aircraft serial number 74 made last fly past in front of the squadron and guests at the ceremony.

I hope the last Fokker F27 to fly in Pakistan Navy colours gets preserved at Pakistan Navy Museum in Karachi.

After performing farewell flypast over PNS Mehran Naval Air Station in Karachi, the Pakistan Navy Fokker F27 aircraft serial number 74 flew to Turbat where it will be preserved as gate guard for Pakistan Navy Naval Air Station Siddiq - Turbat.
