Pakistan Army Helicopters Take Part in Rescue Operation in Deosai

Pakistan Army Eurocopter AS350B-3 Ecureuil helicopters took part in operation to rescue people stranded in Deosai since past three days due to heavy snowfall. The rescued people include five employees of Wildlife Department, four Pakistani and a Swedish tourist.

The surface link between Astore and Skardu is blocked by snow.

The Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain and national park in northern Pakistan.
