Aerial tour of the Himalayas
http://www.redbull.com/en/adventure/sto ... ty-minutes
Veso Ovcharo and friends offer a birdseye view of the highest mountains on earth.
It's not often you'll see a 20-minute-long, mini-documentary featured here – but this one is worth it. Red Bull athlete Veso Ovcharov and friends Peter Loncar and François Ragoski travel deep into the heart of the Himalayas on a free-flying paragliding mission – and deliver beautiful footage of the world's highest mountains, shot directly from their paragliders.
A few notable moments? The flight towards 7,821m high Masherbrum. Another is when pilot Francois Ragoski shouts above the sound of the wind, “I am at 6,300m, and will show you some nice mountains!†– and then proceeds to offer us a view of seven world-class peaks (K6, K7, Laila Peak, K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum I and II) – all in less than 30 seconds.
Chasing Summits was shot during an expedition to Pakistan. Want more paragliding scenery in the mountains? Check out this past summer's Red Bull X-Alps hike-and-fly adventure race.
