Hogan 1:200 Air Blue A320
Here is the 1:200 scale Air Blue A320 produced by Hogan Wings. The model depicts AP-EDA which is Air Blue's first owned A320 due for delivery in March. A few samples of this model have been done for Air Blue's approval which has been given. This basically was the purpose and result of my meeting with Syed Nasir Ali back in November. Air Blue CEO Shahid Khaqan Abbasi commented that this is by far the most beautiful and detailed model of an Air Blue a/c he has ever seen. Production of the models shall commence sometime later on this year:

Does AB really have flags both front and aft?

Pakistan flag is painted on both front and rear section of fuselage on AP-EDA.
Although, Pakistan flag is painted in wrong direction on starboard side of real AP-EDA but I think model maker made right decision to show it in wrong direction on model's starboard side also as it is on the real aircraft so that model looks very much exactly like the real aircraft.
Here's photo showing starboard side of AirBlue Airbus A320-200 (AP-EDA).

Re: Hogan 1:200 Air Blue A320
Very nice and perfectly detailed model indeed produced by Hogan. Congrats to Moin and Hasan for there efforts in the artwork for producing this model so accurately. =D> =D>
As far as wrong direction of flag goes on starboard side, well look at the wrong direction of all crescents on starboard side of the fin in picture posted by Abbas in above post^^. It's looks as if someone did this on purpose or totally goofed up without realizing the true direction how they should have been.
When is the expected date for the production release of this model, i would like to have it in my collection also.

Re: Hogan 1:200 Air Blue A320
There were actually 3 of us involved, me and 2 Hassans and they volunteered to help out as much as they could and did alot of running around so I made sure they got a sample each as well.
I mentioned the wrong direction of the flags to Air Blue and they said to leave it as it is.
The artwork was provided by Air Blue/Airbus. However the other Hassan designed the artwork for the models box which will appear when the rest of the models are produced. Hogan now has the Air Blue license for 1:200, 1:400 and 1:500 scale to produce any a/c in their fleet (I suggested doing AP-EDA being ED's first own A320) but I don't quite know when Hogan will start retail production of this particular model. It should be released before the summer of this year and be available at most Hogan retailers in the US, Canada and Europe at around $20-$25 each. Unfortunately they will not be available in Pakistan as there is no market for these models here.

This does look like a very well detailed and accurate model. Are they for general release? cos i dont see them selling that well - not many collectors for airblue right?
