Final Model added to the collection for '09 - new pics 11/09
Hey Guys,
I finally got my 1/100 full resin AP-BGL...I changed my mind at the last second - i was supposed to get AP-BGZ (the LR variant but opted for this instead) enjoy the new pics...in reply #4
Kind Regards,

Beautiful =D>
Though my personal favorites are 1:200 with landing gear. But this is highly detailed and good-looking as well. Share photos of anymore that you get.

Did you buy that from Samee?! I think he had this one too. He sold a great deal of his larger collection recently on eBay.

The only one in the pic i purchased from Samee was the AP-BAK (desert livery) you see in the back. Samee was selling AP-BGZ (the 200LR World Record Holder) - this is AP-BGL a 777-200ER - this is one i had custom ordered.PK777 wrote:Did you buy that from Samee?! I think he had this one too. FKhan how much did you pay for this in American dollars roughly? I've been trying to get a hold of A300-600 in airbus house livery but they're too hard to find.
Im considering getting a customized model of it in 1:200 scale. how would that cost in American $$ would you know?

Excellent Pacmin collection you got there Fkhan. I haven't seen a private collector yet who would have so many Pacmin 1/100s in his collection!.. . Bro this is an good addiction that doesn't stop, so there will never be the last one..HA HA
I am happy with my 2nd Pacmin model B 747-400 LCF's model in 1/100 scale that my father gave as B Day present.

Re: Final Model added to the collection for '09 - new pics 11/09
Salaam Connieman,
Thanks for the appreciative comments. That is one sweet Pacmin Dream lifter. The only thing better than the dreamlifter model is the actual thing. I was in Seattle back in June of this year and took a couple of pics of the actual aircraft and it is mindblowing. ( If anybody is interested i can post pics of my Boeing factory tour along with Museum of flight pics).
However, with that being said, just wanted to clarify that none of the PIA 1/100's i have are Pacmin!!
I will never purchase a PIA Pacmin. Pacmin has a serious flaw on the their PIA Versions!! The flag on the starboard side is applied in the wrong direction. There is currently a PIA Pacmin 777-300ER (Thar) for sale on ebay..as seen in the following link...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0433988520
Take a look at the 5 pictures and you will see that the Pakistan flag on the starboard side is applied in the same fashion as the port side. I would not spend a penny on these Pacmin!! The same is the case for the AP-BHX version as seen from time to time on Ebay. Pacmin models are very nice and very expensive - but with that being said why pay for a nice, expensive but erroneous model??
The current AP-BGL i have is a 1/100 solid resin model. I can honestly not tell the difference between that and the KLM/Qatar/Kuwait Pacmins i have.
Kind Regards,
F. Khan

I flew on that KLM 777-300 from Amsterdam to Toronto. Those planes are now very rare.
