I believe its "mood lightING", as in the lights set the mood, and not lightening, as in to lighten your mood.

How can one be so sure its PIA? That could apply to any 777 operator.

Hi, Salaam,

Mood lighting is factory fitted. Most newer 77s are fitted, no matter of customer. I maybe wrong. So please check. Many airlines like BA retrofitted the 74s with a degree of mood light affect.
