Proper term is "Cutaway" models, these are the models that shoe aircraft interior and sometimes cut away engines also....

For something like cutaway you are looking at huge dollar numbers ie: 3 times as much as solid models!!. There is a lot more involved in making that sort of model and high detail is required too.

A very good friend on mine has 2 or 3 of these in 1/72nd scale as cutaway models, first one was done as RA-001 similar to Nasir's first picture, second is in Lufthansa's livery with addition as as cutaway showing cockpit details and 3rd one i'm not sure as he took it up north to his cottage before i could see it.

I made all 4 new engines for his 2nd one in Lufthansa livery as he bought it bit damaged at cheaper price of like $500Cdn or so + -,....I have been thinking to buy it off from him but not decided as yet...

Karachi office of TWA had a huge cutaway 747 in 1970s colours for almost 20 years in the display window it even had proper landing gears, but its wings had begun to droop perhaps due to the engines. Must have been sold to some junk dealer.
