Well good effort but good to pass on too...kashan wrote:I didnt buy it and he just had one, anyways it was a very crude interpretation of a 757 not literally like it infact I wouldnt even call it a 757 just a jet aircraft like thing in Arkia livery, but still an interesting item to be here in Pakistan.

I went looking for the guy again luckily he was roaming the same area so I bought it last night for Rs.100, its quite odd looking part 757-300 part A321 small wings and tail, 777 style huge APU area, miniscule engines but like I said a nice find, seems to be official souvenier with Arkia website address and actual registration 4X-BAW of one of their 757-300 on it too, wonder if whole seller knows its illegal to import these.
As a kid I recall seeing Saudia and Pan Am 747s of such type but not PIA.

I once bought a plastic A330-200 model in Karachi from a Bangladeshi guy selling stuff on the street. he sold it for RS 50.kashan wrote:I went looking for the guy again luckily he was roaming the same area so I bought it last night for Rs.100, its quite odd looking part 757-300 part A321 small wings and tail, 777 style huge APU area, miniscule engines but like I said a nice find, seems to be official souvenier with Arkia website address and actual registration 4X-BAW of one of their 757-300 on it too, wonder if whole seller knows its illegal to import these.

It was actually a realstic 1:200 scale but the landing gear under the wings was fake and the fesalage was mad eof tranparent plastic-glass but ootherwise it was real in scale & shape. When i compared to my Emirates A340-500 model in the same scale it's the same comparison between a real A330-200 and A340-500
