Did PAF ever had F-4 "Phantoms"???

Post by ConnieMan »

I like to know if anyone know under any circumstances Pakistan Air Force ever and i mean ever operated McDonnell Douglas F-4 "Phantoms" even for little time??. We know PAF did operated Northrop F-5s in 71 war that Iranian AF lended it to us for sometime.

The reason why i am asking this is due to fact that I might be getting F-4E "Phantom" as a ducted fan jet model to do some high speed practice jet flying soon, or i may also end up getting F-5 instead. If i did get F-4 then it has to be painted in PAF marking only if we had them or used the type.

I would appreciate if anyone could provide me with this information. Thanks

No, PAF never operated F-4 Phantoms at all and never sought them either as far as I know.

AA, i think you are right, look as PAF never operated F-4 in any way or form...I guess if i get it, then i'll do it as Iranian bird before looking at any other non-Muslim country....USAF will be the last on my list.
