PK 206, Kuwait - Lahore, 4th Dec 08 (Screenshots)

Post by raihans »

Hello everyone,

Just some screenshots from my last flight PK 206 (KWI-LHE) on 4th Dec 08 (special flight) for eid holidays; normally PIA use to fly this route with A310 but it was informed by gsa that the aircraft would be a jumbo flight. So decided to fly the same route in FS.

due to night departure, the screenshots were not captured but as we entered into Pakistani airspace, we witnessed the sun rise.

hope you enjoy the screenshots as i enjoyed flying this flight :)

Pic #1 is my favourite. Great work. Thanks for sharing :)
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,

nice to read that, oxon; the one shown in the above screenshots is an official release of Project Opensky, www.projectopensky.com; if it is not listed in their downloads section then it can be downloadable from www.avsim.com. the PIA's B743 release is for fs2004 but i hope that it will work fine with fsx though i did not tested it yet!

I tested it, works fine in FSX aswell as FS9 I have both now...so shouldn't be a problem. Raihan bhai i got two questions for you, how did you get wing-view? I just purchased FS9 and searching for pak add-ons and none had wing-view! also FSX users would be aware of this....now in FSX there is a ''Locked-Spot'' view in which you can control the plane's outside views as where ever you want! Rotate view upwards or downwards. But in FS9 there is only ''Spot'' view and either you use the number-arrow keys to change or shift+arrows and you only have choice of 9 different angles only! :( ......i was wondering if there can be an option like FSX to control the outside views as per our wish?....and the way you've shown your B747 is amazing....like the wing-view especially... :)
and my second question....now in FSX i use my mouse-yoke to control the plane....but it seems like FS9 doesn't have a mouse-yoke system! Please help me if there is a possibility to activate mouse yoke in FS9 too
regards.

captain_salman, its an POSKY B743 and having wing views but in my case, i have customized the panel.cfg file as per my need as wing views are my favourite in whole flight simulation time.

And these days i am enjoying the ifdg a320 and flying number of landing and take-offs at Lahore with different wing view angles....hopefully will share some screenshots soon...

i think there is option for mouse-yoke in fs9 as well, you have to enable it. but i think mouse-yoke control is not much good to control the aircraft during simulation. previously i was using keyboard-num pad but i managed to buy a logitech yoke from the last bonus i got 8)

Raihan bhai please can you tell me what to add in .cfg in order to enable wing view because just like you i love wing-view as well....as yes iFDG A320 rocks! really good plane....you know at this point honestly i am enjoying FS9 to the max!!! first i thought before buying FS9 that i might regret it but now i think it is as fun as FSX.....to all the aviators using FSX i captain salman strongly recommend to buy FS9 as well!! those who haven't used it before! really amazing....the ease at which it start and very frame-rate friendly.....and best is that is uses less than half the space on my hard drive compared to FSX!

oh and raihan you did not told me how to activate mouse-yoke..?? please? i'm very used to flying with mouse
