but where did you get the 200LR/ER with the landing gears. From what i know skymarks only manufactures scale models of AP-BGY and they come without landing gears.

Brother Nadir Ali,

Those landing gears looks as Hogan to me, there are few different ways to do these mods, one is to replace the wings with 1/200 B772 Hasagawa kit, this way you can get scale landing gears and fabricate engines of Skymarks models on them and could detail the LGs with photoetch and add raked wing tips made out styrene plastic for LR version or other cheap way is to drill small holes on the bottom of these original wings and attach Hogan LGs to them. Don't forget it's all plastic and if the builder is experienced in kit bashing then its not a big deal for him to do but it's still lots of time and work though to do them properly.

Aviation World and Threshold Aviation carries all these models here in Toronto. AV World is located on Carlingview drive and Threshold is on northwest corner of Torbram road and Derry road in Mississauga. Behind strip club...

Once in while i do seen them at North Star Hobbies to here in Mississauga.

Thanks dear ConnieMan. Yes I went to Aviation World's Carlingview store. That's where i got my PIA 777-200ER with the 2 tails. it's such a hard place to reach, so i deicded to order some items online only to get an email saying they are out of stock
Seriously, not only is their location a hassle to reach but they put unavailable items on their site and then send an email saying they are no longer available

To Connieman, I had purchased a a PIA 777-200. It was registered AP-BGY as I could see in it's package. I bought it thinking it was an LR as AP-BGY is a 200ER/LR in real life. What's more is it even said on the plane 200LR!

I went all the way home opened it only to find it's simply a 200ER. What's more a small part of the plane was broken

Seriously guyz, dont ever go shopping with Aviation world wheather you're looking for pilot supplies or scale models, don't buy from them. I got a call today regarding the 7 items that i had ordered and they told they have NONE of those in stock. They told me they'll be restocked in a about a month but they'll cost me extra for shipping

What sort of joke is this? Seriously guys dont shop with Aviation world. this is the second time they've tried to rip me off. To heck with them! I found a better shop in America. Not only do they have a higher selction and are they reasonably priced, but they also trade models for credit! Here's their site:

Nadir,

I am really sorry to read your unfortunate experience with AV world being there for first time, i have been going there for last 15 maybe 16 years now, i never had any issues with them or with any of there products. As for there location is concerned, it's not hard to find, if you know how to read directions and follow them, it's easy.

There location is ideal as its right behind Rwy 24R across Hwy 427N under landing or taking off path, can't beat that!!!

Yes i have heard others saying same as you about there website not being up to date at times but personally it's a great place to go and hang around if you have interest in aviation. I can't even count how much i have spent there all the years i been going there between models, books, magazines and photos...heck i have at couple times gone there to hang around and come out empty handed too...which is really odd.

No it's a great place to go, specially if you get to know there service people. I always had great time there specially when i used to work at Consolidated Aviation...

One thing i would say though, make sure you open up your desired purchases there in front of there service people at the counter to make sure you got what you want and happy with it before buying it. I was asked many times by them to open and check before buying and you know it's great thing as how many other places you go and they ask you be satisfied with what you are going to buy before you actually buy it.

This reminds me, i'll go there tomorrow just to see whats new and may run into few friends from airport also....

if you wanna meet up there send me a pm and will coordinate timing to meet there and i'll introduce you to one of the hottie's there and the guy i always deal with....

Dear Connie Man i sent you a PM

Yeah i know who youre talking about. That blond chick who works at the counter there. i was about to mention her attrictiveness, but she can be a poor listener when questioned :( I went there 2 times and each time is hard to reach.

Well i went there once to purchase a PIA 200LR/ER 1:400 as shown on their site as a present for Mr Hassan Jaffery as he got no LRs in his collection (all he really has is 2 200ERs PIA and one 300ER also PIA)

I went there only to find they didnt have it. I can understand if this error happens 1 or 2 times. But yesterday I ordered 7 1:400 models and they had none of them. They said if i still wanted them Id have to pay extra for shipping.

Anyways Im looking for scale models of modern Boeings & Airbuses in house colours. Im not interested in old stuff like DC-10s or 707. Im also not interested in fancy stuff like 787 or A380. Not for now anyways. What would be nice is something like a PIA 777-200LR/ER or atleast a skymarks LR in house colours 1:200
