This aircraft is operational every day and PIA seems to have the pax to make this commercially viable. If only PIA had sourced a more comfortable aircraft with IFE, rather than this ex Shaheen coach in the air.

Previously they did have A330s leased from Hi Fly and Air Senegal. Excellent condition and also had business class. I guess it was too expensive. PIA have no problems filling the entire economy layout of this ex-Shaheen aircraft so there is no incentive to upgrade to a better aircraft.

On a personal viewpoint, I have paid a lot to VS over the last 2 years as its the only direct option between London and LHE. Also there is no direct route between LHR and KHI which is disappointing.

Seems PIA strategy is to let VS take the LHR to LHE/ISB traffic . Praying that PCAA can sort their issues out with EU soon.

Also i don't think these flights to LHR will stop as surely PIAC has only loaned out unused slots and kept some for these charter flights.
