I got following info from my friend Alexandre Avrane - ATDB

Airbus A321-231 (registration D-ARFB) ferried from Munich to Beirut on January 10, 2006 for AirBlue. Aircraft still in Aero Flight livery. Most probably it will be painted in AirBlue livery at Beirut Airport.

Here we go D-ARFB in aero flight colors. Comparatively new aircraft doesnt look like it is more than 3 or 4 years old. Good luck to Air Blue. Has any one flown in a 321?? (photo from a.net)

Hi Mike,

You must have seen Airbus A320-232 (registration TC-OGI) acquired on lease by AirBlue from Atlasjet International Airways of Turkey. This aircraft is based in Dubai.

Following is link to photo of this aircraft in AirBlue/Atlasjet hybrid livery. The photo was taken in Dubai on January 10, 2006.

How and why does an airline from one country base their aircraft in another one?

Thats very good to see the increasing number of destinations for AirBlue, but those Fokkers were in all while colours, does ED also plan to convert those in ED's original c/s?
