I don't believe any of PIA's 200ERs are registered by BPV.

AP-BGL, AP-BHX, AP-BGJ, AP-BGK are the only 200ERs in PIA's fleet that i know of.

IMHO, the livery does not suit T7. I don't know why or how, but it just doesn't. That livery is best suited for good ol jumbo. I forgot where i saw the other repaint, where the second half of fuselage to tail was all green keeping with the design we have now. That looked much more appealing than this.

This color was phenomenal, but maybe it looks a bit odd cuz we never saw it on T7 in the days of operation. meh.

When PIA placed the order for 777s, Boeing did come out with photos of 777s with 90s colors. I do remember PIAs 777 photos with 90s colors in one of the aviation magazines. However, somewhere in that process PIA got rid of those colors and came up new ones.

Just like back in late 70s at the time of the reception of 747s PIA switched to golden cheat line.

Having said that I'm not sure where this photo came from.

It was Boeing Company artist's impression and can be viewed in Boeing Company November 14, 2002 press release on following link:

Link: PIA Orders Eight Boeing 777s (November 14, 2002 Boeing Company Press Release)

SEATTLE, Nov. 15, 2002 -- U.S. and Pakistani government officials joined executives from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and The Boeing Company in a signing ceremony today to formalize a definitive agreement for PIA to purchase eight new Boeing 777 airplanes. The airplane order, valued at $1.5 billion, includes three 777-200ER (extended range), two 777-200LR (longer range) and three 777-300ER (extended range) airplanes for use on PIA's long-haul routes. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2004 and continue through 2008.

PIA should have stuck with this livery, there was no need for a change.
