Post by FKhan722 »

Salaam all,

Green was my favorite livery - 80's,90's and Pashmina. Some of you may remember my collection pictures from the past but it is slowly but surely growing :D I've actually just recently gotten into custom ordering - will update this post as my custom models start pouring in!! Until then enjoy...

Soon if i have time, i'll do a separate post for only the flag livery and finally i'll finish with one for the ethnic tails.

Kind Regards

hey, thats a nice collection you have....thanks for sharing....

Abbas, did you noticed any model collector have complete fleet of PIA in any particular livery 80s, 90s, Pashmina or even new but with same scale i.e. 1:200 or 1:400 or 1:500 etc.?

Raihan, I'm not aware of such collector and that's probably because I myself am not a keen aircraft model collector.

However, I do enjoy viewing photos like the ones posted here by FKhan722.

What a great collection. I to am slowly building up a collection of "Greens" and "Ethnics". Most recent being AP BAT (Dragon Wings) 1:400. thanks to Samee.
Another thing is the difficulty in obtaining such Models.

Thanks for showing and look forward to the next posting.

Thank You all for the positive comments.

PIAForever - just drop Samee an email (his email address is right above your last post) and hopefully he'll set u up with the 1/200 scale PIA's. They are fantastic models.

I will post some updated shots soon. I'm waiting for the big one

Looking at the picture below (toys scattered in the background as well as the Mack&Cheese), the Sherlock Holmes in me thinks you have at least one child... :)

What manufacturer are you going with? Is it a build from scratch (shown by ConnieMan), or a display model (shown by Samee380)?

I must admit that my curse is a desire for perfection- if the aircraft dimensions/profiles are not spot on, the entire model loses value :(. That is why I have to resort to Hasegawa for their models, even though they are 1/200.

Hi Nasir,

I'm going with a mahogany wood hand painted model. This is the first time i'm having a custom model built..so i can only wait and see what happens. Expecting the worst but hoping for the best

I will on the other hand have a 1/100 Resin PIA 777-200LR by the end of the summer which should be spot on. I opted for the flag livery on that one!! I went with i think Executive models on that one. Lets see what happens.

Kind Regards,
F. Khan
