Bilal, I tested the file last night. ...
I was getting slight FPS problem ...

how much FPS are you guys getting ... i was getting around 2.5 to 8 FPS ...
I have a lot of AI running as well.

the textures are amazing with detail ... however, if you convert the textures to DXT3 would there be improvements in performance ?
Also i am building Abu Dhabi airport myself as well. For cosmetics I put in a lot of bright spotlights, spotlights use a lot of FPS as well. At the end I had to remove the spotlights.

Here's a sample of my early version of OMAA which i need to redesign after my new observations.

thanks you guys for replies.

BILOOKHAN, your scenery looking very good, and sorry i didn't undestand what u asked for FPS, idon't know what is this. but regarding the textures format i suggest you DXT3 format textures bcz they will load quiqly in the fs. best of luck for ur remaining scenery.

I have also found this happens. Eventually the Ground Textures turn into a big blur

i think guys it is a exclusion or ground flatten problem.

maybe when i flattened the ground to create scenery on it, i think i made some mistake but i don't know how to correct it bcz aim not very good to recorrect problems. i think you all shoud try to remove my flatten ground files and recreate a flatten bgl made from ur self. maybe it will solve the problem.

thnks aghain guys

You guys made a great contribution, I am more thrilled to see OMAA! I want that airport buddy! :P now regard OPLA, well two things: it works perfectly in my FS9! and in my FSX it has FPS problem, the ground turns blurr and flicker, and the runways are not visible! the rest is fine so hoe that will be sorted out. :)

bilal
FPS meaning Frames Per second.
During flight if you press CTRL +Z or Shitf + Z one of the two, press it twice and you get to see how much frames per second ur getting.
With FlyTampa sceneries i usually get around 12-15 FPS ... which is still good but anything that goes below 9 is troublesome.

Aah ur using DXT3 ? hmmm ....

Great! I'll give it a shot in FSX, but may give problem because the earth shape changed.
May just have to install FS9 :(

 Hey Nabeel. I finaly read your PM. I remember mentioning your software to our CEO some time ago.

Regarding starting up a VA. Dont worry about the name but be prepared to put in alot of time and work to make it work. There have been so many
Pakistani related VAs that dont make it. I may be wrong, but Virtual Airlines like VPIA and Emirates are very specialised and you must be very aware of the real Airline and the legalities. I believe Virtual Cathay Pacific had a legal action against them and Qatar Virtual have suffered the same fate.

As a suggestion why not start a fictional Pakistan Airline.............. you wont have any restrictions.

If you are realy lucky you may even get the suport and backing by the real airlines, but this is very exceptional.

One last thing, is nt it about time the present Pakistani VAs formed an alliance. CEOs please take note.

Good luck if you decide to go ahead.
