A few more with the new runway layout.

The last three shots include the final layout for runway 07R, still need to put some yellowish color on runway 07L.

Enjoy.

Really good pictures. Just one question in the current OPKC scenery there are two problems, 1st Planes doesn't gets allined with the centre line while performing ILS landing. 2nd is that the ATC doesn't gives the option to land on RW25L/07R. Will these problems still occur ?

yes these problems can be solved but i dont think that in real the planes land on 07r-25l. they only land on 07l-25r. but we can solve this prob through a program called afcad2.2 and abt the ILS landings, yeah its a prob that can be solved using the same software.

BTW this scenery is for FS2004, because If i turn this into FSX format I'll just have to turn all the textures into FSX format and flaten the place i am going to place the airport on but its not just that easy but takes up a lot of time.

Sarmad, what are you doing for night lighting i.e. the taxiway, runway & approach lights? installing some custom made lights or ???

Shockwave Redux lights support lights for taxiways and runway. I wish that you go for shockwave redux.

@ Raihans

Don't know about the lightning effects yet. Gotta study the printouts when I am done with the runway and taxiways. But I am probably gonna make my own lightning effects.

I have a little knowledge abt the approach lightning system but I think its way higher than my knowledge level but I think that I'll have to use the same approach lights for the runway as that were used by the default scenery because the custom made lights do have issues like not turning on during the foggy weather day but if they are coded to turn on during the day they stay on even if t is not foggy or you have to tune them on through your aircraft radio.

@ Ahmedshaikhani

Raihans is talking about the scenery lightning effects. The shockwave redux is only for the aircrafts and they also kill the fps a lot so i am not gonna use any effect like that but whatever i'll use, i'll make sure it looks nice and doesn't use up a lot of frames.

:D

Well, I thought that rwy 07r-25l was only used for landing in certain conditions. Is it true? If yes then when???

Sarmad, i think the default taxiway, runway and approach lights does not work when you apply the ground textures. i mean the layer of texturing placed over the ground scenery (afcad file) so you won't be able to use them. Unless you use the special effects using fsds / gmax etc.

just test your scenery in night time.

Yes Raihan bhai, I do understand that they don't work during the night because the base layer is covered with the custom ground polygons. But there are different issues with the custom made approach lights not working during the day even with fog turned on. So no visibility or approach lights. I am still in that learning process. And the effects for the apron and the taxiways are easy to add but the approach lightning system isn't.

BTW the scenery is not complete. I will be making the custom apron and taxiway textures pretty soon. Hopefullt the ground will be done (without the night lightning and parking places) in 4-5 days period.
