On the back of your FSX box microsoft recommends these processors but they will not tell you the really maximum setup recommended to take FSX settings to max with no problems! ALL fsx hardware has to be more powerfull than fs2004 hardware and this they will not tell you they know ppl cannot fork out this kind of money so they tell you basics setup just for 1 aeroplane takeoff and landing hardware called Minumim required!

CPU recommended is the INTEL QUAD CORE EXTREME procesoors running from 3.0GHZ to 3.2GHZ - these processors have 4xCPUs running at these speeds!

A 1300W power supply which ill allow you to draw the power for 2 - 3 graphics cards!

Recommended memory NVIDIA SLI memory DDR2 from speeds 800mhz or above! they come in 2GB Sticks and recommended memory is 6GB to 8GB when using windows vista!

Windows Vista 64 Bit operating system higly recommended alows you to expand memory to 8GB . Fsx when you take to maximum settings you will find getting memory errors with alot of addons and settings at maximum so 6gb to 8gb is recommended,

Graphic cards like the XFX 9800GTX or above by nvidia are recommended, but we recommend 3 installed for 3 cards framrate crossfiring the best performance will take your games or simulation 60 frames per second but only 30 frames are needed but you can add 2 cards which is totally dependand how much simulation data is added to fsx to get the correct framerates runing fast and smooth. Thats why people add 3 for maximum performance.

Motherboards like the ASUS P5NT deluxe or better motherboards are recommended for simulation and not to forget like all motherboards you must update the bios from the website manufacturers.
Motherboards like these should have 3 PCI Express slots allowing to add 3 graphic cards and your best CPU on board and typical 4 memory slots allowing 8GB. Not forgetting to add cooling to your casing to stop overheating to powerfull systems. These motherboards have built in sound so u can hook up speakers for simulation.

A 500GB hardisk or higher is recommened for FSX basically 2 HD are recommended 1 for operating system and second for FSX or fs9 flight simulation setup to stop operating system host process runining in background while in flight simulation. If everthing was installed on 1 drive and you were flying somewhere in your flight time windows vista will kick of host processing and other system file initiating which does slow down your simulation as people have discovered. 500GB recommended or above if your going to do alot of addons for yoour simulation , making videos etc etc.

and finaly dont forget about your headset to chat to your co-pilots and the Real ATC on the ground!

External Accesories recommended is the Saitek Flight Yoke and throttle quadrant highly recommended as it is engineered to real aviation calibrated design essential for flying your aircraft and gives less straign off keys on keyboard always looking down. Also dont forget your rudder pedals highly required to turn left righ on runway or rudder left right and braking!

This video is a typical example of setting up 2 Graphic Cards in SLI
Crossfiring to Improve your Flight simulation X Or Fs2004 Framerate performance! Mostly used for all games and Flight simulation highly recommened for fast smooth flying. FSX is power hungry!
