Maybe a stopover in Frankfurt or Amsterdam, could have provided the extra 70-80 passengers needed to make the Glasgow flight a success.
Atleast in the offseason flights.

PIA Inaugural Flight From Glasgow To Faisalabad
LAHORE, April 3 (APP) :PIA starts its flights from Glasgow to Faisalabad fulfilling a long standing demand of the Pakistani expatriates living in and around Glasgow.
According to PIA sources here, direct flight from Faisalabad to Glasgow could be on the cards after the expansion of the runway at the Faisalabad airport allowing the bigger aircraft to take off with full load.
The sources said, the inaugural flight from Lahore to Glasgow flight PK-777 was received by the city officials of Glasgow led by councilor Hanzala Malik who then saw-off the first ever Glasgow-Faisalabad flight PK-778 yesterday (April 02).
Over eighty percent of Pakistani community settled in Scotland hails from Faisalabad and the surrounding areas. Most of the Pakistani expatriates in Scotland are traders mainly in the fields of textile and garments who have welcomed the first-ever direct flight from Glasgow to Faisalabad.
This is the fourth destination of PIA in United Kingdom after London, Manchester and Birmingham. National Flag Carrier now operates twice-weekly Flights for Glasgow (United Kingdom) from Lahore.
Sunday flight will return to Lahore while the Wednesday flight will land at Faisalabad.

I'm currently working in Glasgow and eventhough I haven't been fortunate enough to catch PIA coming into Glasgow yet, I've been talking to a few people and asking them about the airline. I'm going to share some of the views I got.
Some of these are maybe just malicious rumours whereas others have a solid basis to them. Either way, if anyone from PIA is reading this, hopefully they can gain an insight into how non-Pakistani's view PIA.
I was speaking to a friend who told me he was speaking to the ground handlers and aircraft cleaners for PIA. The cleaners main issue was the hygiene of the aircraft and the passengers, claiming they often have to clean urine off the seats?! I know it sounds crazy, and I informed him eventhough it may have happened on a few occasions, it's probably more of a malicious rumour. The groundhandlers don't like dealing with the crew, claiming they are arrogant and come across as incompetent. One guy said that apparently not so long ago whilst taxying they accidently dumped some fuel onto the grass area of the airfield. Again I know it sounds crazy. They also said that PIA were banned at one point from operating into Glasgow because they dumped fuel over the city?! All this really had me laughing and it does sound more like malicious rumours but this is the perception people have of PIA - from its passengers to crew.
Secondly, I was speaking to colleague and he said a close friend of his is a CAA inspector. This guy absolutely detests having to inspect PIA since he knows it's going to be a long and difficult task. I asked what the main issues were, and he said they often don't have all the right paper work, a few minor maintenace issues etc. He says he eventually just lets them go provided there isn't a big safety issue, but they never learn and it's the same scenario every time.
Some of you will find this just as a little amusement, but I hope others will take heed of the image PIA is portraying to others at present.

first of all, the banner is not much attractive and secondly, why some one who want to fly to Glasgow shall APPLY NOW instead of BOOK NOW
