The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,

....heavy line up. Instead of taking from front spot view, try the tower view, change tower view to rwy threshold and then see the difference...it will be similar like some person is standing near the threshold and watching the landings.... :D

I have taken some screenshots and will share once back at home :!:

But I don't have these approach lights in my FS?
Are you using FSX? or FS2004?

arifm I am using FS9.

However the dusk shot was taken at London Heathrow RWY09L (aerosoft scenery) and the second one was at Quaid-E-Azam Int'l). I didn't want to post this photo using another thread (since it was the same aircraft and similar approach) so used the same one. I hope that explains :)
