BRAND NEW:Airblue A340-600 Lahore-Karachi shots!

Post by VirtualPIA »

Hello all....here are some shots of a fictional repaint....an Airblue A340-600!

Image

These shots are dedicated to Saad Asad Cheema.....

Image
Airblue eight niner eight heavy negotiates the ramp at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International under my highly competent command.

Image
ED 898 is inbound from Sydney.

Image
Flight 898 is now docked at the gate for a short one hour turnaround before operating a continuing service to Karachi.

Image
While AP-BRC offloads Lahore bound passengers, the crew engages in serving snacks to about 200 passengers bound for Karachi.

Image
A fresh set of crew now takes over command from the inbound crew from Sydney. This set of crew will perform a short 3 hour duty on the continuing flight to Karachi. Note Thai, PIA, Saudi and Kuwaiti traffic.

Image
Now assuming the callsign Airblue four zero three heavy, the massive airbus boards domestic passengers bound for Karachi. While ED403 is normally operated by Airblue's huge fleet of A320 aircraft, on Sundays and Fridays, it is operated by an A346 which operates the inbound flight from Sydney to Karachi via Lahore.

Image
Note that the jetway is off the airplane. Doors are still open for fresh air, but they will be closed momentarily as a new Captain takes command of this sleek & very sexy airplane.

Image
"Assalam o Alaikum khawateen o hazrat....Airblue Captain Saad aur un kay amlay ki janib say aap ko....."

Image
Rolling number 1, the heavy attracts the attention of onlookers from the terminal bridge.

Image
ED403 is now taxiing to the active....

Image
An evil sun reflects off the fuselage of AP-BRC.

Image
Turning onto the active is one of Airblue's four Airbus A340s.

Image
Rolling Airblue four zero three heavy.....

Image
Rotate!!!!!

Image
sweeeeet!

Image
giving a good scare to sleepy residents of defence on a lazy sunday....

Image
aaahhhh can you smell the sweetness of Lahore????
AP-BRC maintains its initial heading. Four of these gigantic ex-Qatari beasts now serve Airblue.

Image
On approach to Karachi....

Image
Short finals....

Image
Down, reversers in full action as the huge beast struggles to slow down to a halt....

Image
Taxiing back to the terminal....

Image
At her stand on the international terminal. While the passengers from Sydney are offloaded through the jetway, the local passengers will now be bussed back to the local satellite.

Image
Once belonging to Qatar Airways, four Airbus A340-642 High Gross Weight variants now form Airblue's long range and high demand route network. These aircraft are regulary seen from North America to Australia, operating non stop flights to destinations like Toronto, New York JFK, Houston, Chicago, London, Jeddah, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Sydney.

Now she is looking good. Great job brother.. Keep it up :D
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,
SubhanAllah

thanks ahmed, cpt_747 and azooz for replying......
ahmed GSE is placed with RWY12 object placer....azooz, this is a simbuild model, it is difficult to maintain its nose up angle due to some bais error in the model....which makes the elevator's action practically negligible, the nose at a down angle unless the horizontal stabilizer is set for a positive up angle...so thats the trick to fly it properly.

love to hear that one......makes this shole thing worthwhile!

Thankyou for replying, and for requesting this repaint, Saad bhai, will upload to flightsim soon....
ahmed GSE was included in the original pack itself....some of it I added later thru RWY 12 Object Placer.
The original scenery is at flightsim.com, search for Lahore.
PK777, indeed, one can only dream - for now - though it would be great if they decided to go with Qataria's planes wouldn it??? ahhhhhhh......
