Second PIA Boeing 747 Going To Sialkot

AP-BAT Certificate Of Airworthiness renewed and issued today.Aircraft going to Lahore PK 304 and onwards to Sialkot to be parked beside AP-BFX.

2nd Boeing testing flight land in Sialkot

SIALKOT Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Jumbo Boeing 747 testing flight successfully landed at Sialkot International Airport on Friaday.

The successful landing of PIA's Jumbo Boeing 747 at Sialkot airport was a marvelous achievement in Pakistan's world of aviation, which would definitely open the new horizons excellence in this regard. It was the second test flight of Jumbo Boeing, which landed at the airport. Its pilots termed this landing as a fantastic and were of the view that Sialkot International airport has the world class aviation system which also caters the future needs of coming 50 years. PIA's Jumbo Boing 747 flight flew from Lahore airport and landed at Sialkot International Airport.

^ The landing of B747s at Sialkot airport needed to be proven with maximm landing weight instead of ferry flights!

Let PIA send a full flight and then test it again!!! And after that they have to publish the details about the runway capacity for handling of B747s ops.

Please correct me if i am wrong on the above!

^ Probably until PIA finds a buyer for it. AP-BAT is one of three PIA Boeing 747s offered for sale.
