I'm sure most people here have seen the movie Superman Returns
Maybe some of you remember in the movie we see a NASA owned Boeing 777 carrying a shuttle (they don't use 777s in real life shuttle launching)
But what was most unique about this Boeing 777 (200?) that it had winglets on each wing and also on the tips of it's verticle stablizers.
Unfortunately I can't find a clear cut screenshot of this plane but if any of you own a copy of that movie maybe you could upload the image here as it is an extremely rare modification and maybe we can have PIA liveries on it as well.
If you haven't seen that plane in the Superman Returns movie you gotta see it it is a state-of-the art beauty.

Thanks, I'll be waiting for the screenshot.
Yes I saw clips from that scene on youutbe, but I didn't find a clear screenshot even on google images.
I know it doesn't need winglets, but still you can have them installed on almost all airliners, if you have the money.
But thanks if you can upload a clear screenshot. Maybe we can add PIA livery onto it

By no means was it fictitious. Take the winglets off from the wingtips and vertical stabelizers and you have a real-life B777-ER aircraft.Imran Hassan wrote:hmmm I think I remember watching the making and I think the CGI team did base it on the 777. But ultimately it is just a fictitous aircraft much like the one from Flightplan (E 474).
Even the lady briefing the press inside the plane clearly mentions it to be a Boeing 777.
Yes the adding of the winglets has never been seen on a real-life B777, but it is possible if you have the money to install the winglets.
