As photography has become a new obsession with me, I decided it would be nice to photograph some of the 1:400 and 1:200 models in my collection. This is not my entire collection as I'm only taking pics of those models which I have acquired in the last 2 years and pics of new models which I have bought will also be added as I receive them:

Thanks. Its the GJ mat set. I've bought the terminal set also but I'll be bringing that on my next trip back from London in Dec.

I personally can't stand these model threads, they're just so boring and out of spirit, but I must say that your collection speaks out for it self. Don't know what 1:400 & 1:200 stand for but models looking great.

The definition of 1:200 and 1:400 is fairly simple. 1:200 means that 200 models all placed one behind the other will cover the actual length of the real a/c. Same as with 1:400. For example, you take 400 B747 models in 1:400 scale and line them up one after the other and that would be the actual length of a real B747.

I have enjoyed alot while watching the pics of the models, unfortunately not able to view the entire album as it was of 135 pics and my duty time got off

What i noted that Moin has bought A380s as well, not 1 or 2 but 3 or more which i noted...

Moin, all the one i have seen are jets, dont you collect turboprops in scale 1:400 for your project or even 1:200? I think without those, the airport project will not be complete....

I'm not really THAT into propjets. I do have a 1:400 Iberia Super Connie, Air Tanzania F-27 and Olympic DC-6 and plan on taking pics of all my retro models i.e. 707, 720, 727, DC-8, Caravelle, VC-10, Trident etc all in one or two sessions as there are alot of models to photograph. New pics will be added periodically, so keep checking back.

i viewed all those during duty time; as i get some free time in between....therefore, i have already bookmark the link and will chill my eyes continuously....

And regarding your project, i know that you are not much. Therefore, just my opinion to place the turboprops as well....
