My recent Drawings

Post by Ali M »

Taking a lead from others on the forum, I am posting some of my newest drawings. They wwere part of a series done for No.17 Sqn of PAF. The entire series is dedicated to our dearest S/L Ammar Butt, Flt Cdr of the Squadron , a gem of a person and a hardcore fighter pilot......who lost his life in the line of duty earlier this month

Very good attempt!

With few changes listed below the aircraft will look exactly like PIA Boeing 747-282B (registration AP-AYW) from late 1970s.

* Remove upper deck emergency exit door.
* Replace General Electric CF6 engines with Pratt & Whitney JT9D engines.
* Enlarge PIA stylised Urdu logo

For reference/comparison here's photo of AP-AYW from late 1970s.

Or with changes listed below the aircraft will look exactly like one of two PIA Boeing 747-240BM Combis (registration AP-BAK & AP-BAT).

* Join golden cabin window line with black paint on nose cone.
* Black anti-glare paint below flight deck windows should cover lesser amount of area.

For reference/comparison here's link to photo of AP-BAK from 1979.
