PIA v Eithad Fares
Im to travel to Pakistan (Karach) in early November of this year. Does anyone know whats the fare difference between PIA and Eithad on the route YZZ-KHI? apart from the fare difference which would you prefer? service and comfort wise?

..I would assume you meant 2000CAD..and why make TWO connections when you can fly direct?PIA10141 wrote:i've been trying to get a ticket to pakistan and PIA is offering $200 CAD direct where as Etihad is offering $1300 CAD via LONDON and ABUDHABI. I'd go with Etihad and get a first class at around $1800 CAD.

i don't like direct at all..... it hard to be in a plane ecpecially with kids that are crying half the time for 14 hours. It's difficult. I only flew direct once on PIA and it was the most horrible experience. Kids were crawling under the seat, seriously...... the crew had to announce and tell parent to take care of the kids. I had to sit beside a child, but it was only a 1-month old girl and she didn't bug me at all, i had fun playing with her lol.... but the other kids were a pain.Jacobin777 wrote:..I would assume you meant 2000CAD..and why make TWO connections when you can fly direct?PIA10141 wrote:i've been trying to get a ticket to pakistan and PIA is offering $200 CAD direct where as Etihad is offering $1300 CAD via LONDON and ABUDHABI. P.S. I like to have a connection at Dubai or Abu Dhabi cuz some of my family lives there and my dad has a resturant there

..for the most part, people like flying direct...no matter how long..it saves time, hassles, connections, etc...PIA10141 wrote:i don't like direct at all..... it hard to be in a plane ecpecially with kids that are crying half the time for 14 hours.
