ah, good ol' memories.
Back in early 90s, I was lucky enough to get my hand on Saudi Arabian 747 (model on stand), Tristar (model on stand), and some diecast scale models of 747s and A300s of Saudia. They use to give them as gifts to kids during flight and some I got from our family friend who worked in Saudi Arabia in a travel agency.
I also bought a lego set of Saudi Arabian airlines in 1992 which had blueprints and figures to make a complete set: either a 747 or Tristar, pushback truck, cargo truck with containers trailing, catering truck, and some lego figures with headphones and some of them had the torch in his hand to guide the plane.
Well, due to careless dusting and reckless vacuuming and the fact that I was a kid caused me to loose all the models except for 70% of the lego set. I occasionally still find bits of the lego set in odd places i.e. tool box, mom's jewelery box, coin purse, etc.
Oh well.
