Yes you and your textures and shades! Concentrate on the quality of the mould as well but I know you, even if the texture and shade are not right, you'll still buy the model.
You should try to diversify your collection as well, look at other airlines as well. There are so many beautiful liveries and other a/c types out there, don't just go and horde PIA after PIA. Keep discovering.

yeh i have more BA models than PIA and i am collecting alot of emirates which you must have seen in latest photos of my collection. If i like the livery i get it. I am going to start collecting Qatar new livery only
I only will collect from these 4 airlines just to keep the expenditure low! BUT if a good livery comes out of any airline i may start to collect that airline...etc

I am like you too, my first preferance always has been PIA and Saudia after these two i look at other airlines including Air Canada, but lately i have noticed about myself that i am collecting TCA models at same rate as Saudia or PIA with not current liveries. I like big planes and cars, so any heavy transporters are welcome too.PK777 wrote:Im too have prefer collecting airlines from Middle East and Pakistan only. We all are major 1/400 guys! They are the best and with companies such as Gemini Jets, Aero Classics, Big Bird, Phoenix Models and many others producing new ones nearly every month - your collection will grow! These are diecast and some come with rubber tires so add to the realism.Hasson2k2 wrote:Hey man nice model!!!
I have been thinking about starting a model collection but i have a question. What is the lenght and wingspan of that model of yours and what size is it 1:400 or 1:200?? Also is there a place where i can get 1:100 models???
1:200 scale are usually made of plastic snap fit stuff so they detail maybe abit better, and cheaper. Room to put them up is an issue with collectors. Also, you can get diecast models from the likes of Inflight200 but are u willing to pay the high costs?!
