If this is true, I like it. People living in the metro NYC area will not care but for passengers making a connection, JFK always had issues. The number and time of connection to/from JFK are always limited plus EWR is next to I-95 that makes a big difference for people in the mid-Atlantic.

Yes, Houston was suspended back in November after the EASA ban on PIA's 747s. However, according to PIA's website flights should resume from February 9th using a 747M.
