PIA Aircraft Models Reply

Post by samee380 »

Hi i emailed PIA directly for them issueing licences and making more models of PIA and i recieved the reply in the next day :D

Dear Mr. Samee

Thank you for using PIA online services

Thank you for the suggestions, your observations are always welcome. Unfortunately we don’t have PIA’s aircrafts models; in fact I was looking for myself. Meanwhile your suggestion is escalated to the concern department.

Thank you once again for your valued suggestion.

Good work Samee! If you can get Hogan to contact them that would be great. Hogan makes a kick ass 777 model (I have their 1/200 AF 773ER) and if they were to do the PIA 773ER that would be fantastic. Give them Hogans website address also www.socatec.aero and they can contact them directly.

Well as DW, GJ, Aeroclassics, Sovereign, Blue Box and Skymarks already have the PIA license, I don't think it should be too difficult for Hogan or PX to get one either.

Either way, good going. Keep pressing DW into doing the 772LR.

Good to hear the news, Samee. Here is the SV website, but I believe they are no longer in the market. They have not released any models recently and their website seems to have done offline now, so Im doubting them to come up with anything now. http://www.sovereignmodels.com/

Netmodels and BlueBox and even Phoenix models are unlicensed models, however, PX does come up with the quality compared to NM and BlueBox. So, hopefully well see more from PX next year, maybe they want to give other airlines a chance instead of flooding the market all in one go! They have the A310, B777 moulds from GJ so they are covered and with their own B747 mould im sure they will continue producing the provincial stuff. I would also like them to do the Tu-154M that PIA leased some time back for Hajj operations, this particular aircraft was painted in the 1990s sporty livery and looked amazing... I think GlobalPIA might still have the pic on his website.. Ill see if I cant find it.

Samee that is where you are in lead my friend, i can send it to you through emails and you can go ahead with these companies, as you mentioned they read but don't reply, this don't reply part would get me going nuts, so its better you do it, i'll keep posting it on AC fourms and see if anyone pick up from there. let me know if we have a deal

I think what needs to be done first of all is to e-mail DW or PX pics of the new 773ER and 772LR.

I am starting to think same too, i posted a thread on Aeroclassic's fourm and usually with in hrs of posting many responces are generated but in this case only 2-3 so far!, may be its due to this very time of the year but i will have to see. PK777 if you have been sending them emails with this picture for year almost and got no reply in terms of anything on the model, then i woulden't bother with it, unless Samee have different approach and can persuave them is different story, but i won't myself persue it further personally.
