PIA Meljet 773 AP-BHV:New shots from Everett!

Post by VirtualPIA »

Finally, the wait is over....Virtual PIA, Pakistan's leading and dedicated virtual airline is proud to present Meljet Boeing 777-300 AP-BHV - PIA's first, wearing the new Sindh tail, carrying the title "Thar - Colours of the Desert".
The aircraft, repainted by Ahmed Ahsen, with the help of AJ Nikoley & Mohsin Naseem will be released publicly at flightstim.com and avsim.com very soon.
AP-BHV will be flown on Sunday by 777 type rated VPIA pilots, including the Director of Flight Ops and the Chief Pilot of Planning and Scheduling.
The delivery flight of BHV is scheduled for Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd of this month.
All praise to Allah on helping us complete this mission.
Here are some photos taken by Boeing Employees from Payne/Everett airfield - showing Virtual PIA's 777 undergoing final checks before her test flight this Sunday.

Review:
hmm....well my repaint is pretty good excect a couple of flaws.....
i)Door 3 is painted a bit forward to coincide with the stripe
i)A window after door 4 looks incomplete from some angles
Otherwise its pretty good, with accurate titles and registrations....
awaiting your opinions......

   !!!!!! Waaha jee waah..... wat a great piece of work brother!! I love the textures and colours... would like to see some night shots to see how the plane looks at night!!

Yaar I would like to ask you something, did u make those textures completly yourself? How do you make it by yourself, I'm having trouble... I also repainted Ali bhai's 773 s BHV and it looks pretty good, just need to fix up a few things and its will be done. THIS IS MY MAJOR CONCERN, WHEN PAINTING AIRCRAFTS, SHOULD I EDIT THE TEXTRUES THROUGH DXTBmp OR SHOULD I DO IT IN PAINT AND THEN TRANSFER IT TO DXTBmp? I PAINTED IN PAINT AND TRANSFERED THE FILE INTO DXTBmp BUT IT GAVE ME SOME BLURRY TEXTURES...CAN YOU PLEASE HELP!

Once again, I love that livery on that plane!

Thank you for appreciating
Mohsin, once done editing open in DXT bmp...then save in the DXT3 format.....uncheck a little box to the right side of the DXTbmp window which says "include mipmaps when saving" otherwise textures will look blurred.
About the textures, yes I did work on them myself, once I had some on a white background it was simple copy & paste. For the cream colour, I used AJ Nikoley's texture to give a background.....then added the stripe.....was hectic and frustrating! yet the work pays off.....
Alhamdolillah........
Anil Bhai.....assignments coming up.....
And many thanks for your support PK777!

Whats the KU 777 doing there at Everett? Did you just add that for the background or have they ordered more?
