According to PIA website PK785 17 Dec will be operated by a 743.

Does this mean 743 are returning to normal service ??

i think just 2 or 3 have been refurbished , more then half of the 747 fleet is yet to go. the operations to heathrow have not been fully restored and the peak season is just about drawing in. it would be nice to see another fiascoe as pia has become the laughing stock

I presume not as we have forum member M. Ali in London and Senior in Manchester to catch the shots and to update us with the information. Up till now there is no such information as that!

PIA website did not have accurate info.

PK785 DEC 17 was a 777-200ER (AP-BGK).

If the combis are not back on the U.S. routes I doubt it that they have met U.K.'s standards yet. They are probably being used on Middle Eastern routes if they are being used at all. Does anybody know if any of the B74's will be returning to the JFK route?
