AP-BGS named 'Ziarat - The City of Flowers'

Got following info from forum member Mohammed Younis

PIA Airbus A310-325ET (AP-BGS) is named 'Ziarat - The City of Flowers' with Baluchistan province tail.

I think they have limited number of cities to associate with the planes, like you see Ziarat is given to BGS where as earlier ATR42 is named with the same city.

I though only one name of the city will be given to one plane. There could be so many other cities having historic background and can also be associated to the planes.

Not really... they still have Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sukkur, Abbottabad, Gujanwala etc..

I hardly think any of the name you mentioned will be given to any aircraft, dont know why!

Rawalpindi is like a hill station before people set off to Muree and above and Abbottabad is a famous torusit spot.

YEH i really like this !!! all the A310-300 models should be made!!! i will try and persuade Bluebox to do them all! some for gemini jets
